The 30 rooms and suites, including 22 suites, are described as spacious, elegantly appointed, and designed as private sanctuaries. - Accessibility Note: It's important to note that access to bedrooms and the restaurant is not step-free, and the property is multi-storey without an elevator, which may make it unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. The hotel also generally recommends against bringing children under 12 due to its calm, adult atmosphere.
7. Value & Pricing
While Villa des Orangers is a luxury property and "not cheap," guests generally feel it offers excellent value for the money, given the faultless service and included extras. Room rates can start from around $456 for a standard room and $637 for a suite, with typical prices ranging from $842 to over $900 per night. Rates often include breakfast, and for certain bookings, also daily lunch, airport transfers, laundry service, and soft drinks from the minibar, which contribute to the perceived value.
8. Common Complaints
While overwhelmingly positive, some minor points of criticism or aspects to be aware of include:
- Accessibility: The lack of step-free access and elevators can be a drawback for guests with limited mobility.
- Street Outside: While the interior is a peaceful haven, the immediate road outside the hotel entrance isn't described as the prettiest, with garages and repair stalls, though this is typical of the Medina.
- Child Suitability: The calm, adult atmosphere means it's not always recommended for children under 12.
In summary, Villa des Orangers offers an "unforgettable" experience, providing a luxurious, serene, and impeccably serviced retreat within the exciting chaos of Marrakech, truly living up to its Michelin Key One-Keys distinction.

Overall a nice hotel with friendly staff. However, the rooms are very dark and there was not even a plug in the bathroom. The gym is poorly equipped with one treadmill, some weights and a yoga mat.. the staff at the breakfast was slow and incompetent but still friendly. The pool is very nice and they have a beautiful rooftop pool as well. The location is definitely a plus as it is very central and...

Based on the reviews, I had incredibly high expectations for this property. My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon and to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. To begin, I made several notes upon booking that it was our honeymoon. They never acknowledged this through the whole stay, nor did they ask. It’s not a big deal, and I certainly could have said something, but this level of hotel should ...
