- Room Temperature: In isolated instances, guests have reported rooms being extremely cold upon arrival, requiring additional heating.
- Parking Costs: The £35 per day charge for valet parking has been a point of contention for some who were not aware of it beforehand, particularly when not booking directly.
- Inconsistent Service (Rare): Very occasionally, some guests have experienced staff who were less welcoming or attentive than the general high standard.
- Dining Limitations (Rare): One older review mentioned a limited restaurant menu, though more recent reviews laud the extensive tasting menus. An isolated, significantly older review also reported a poor breakfast experience and issues with housekeeping and amenities. However, more current reviews overwhelmingly praise both breakfast and overall dining.

The service, room, food and drinks were faultless. Staff were all lovely and made our stay very enjoyable. Our room was beautiful and very clean with lovely personal touches. Clara was also lovely. The spa was quiet but looked better in the photos and was a little smaller than I was expecting. Thank you so much we will have to return

This is a nice hotel but the price doesn’t reflect the standard of service or the facilities. We had a night here as I was in Bath on business so this was a bit of a treat. Concierges were outstanding but the rest of the service left much to be desired. On check-in, we had to wait as there was another couple ahead of us. That was fine but we were told someone would be with us as soon as they had ...

My friend and I had afternoon tea at the Royal crescent hotel and spa as a treat while we were visiting the city. Lovely restaurant and they allowed our two well behaved small dogs in too. Our orders were placed - 1 gluten free without egg mayo sandwich, the other was a classic afternoon tea, again with no mayo. When our afternoon tea arrived, both had egg sandwiches on , despite our requesting ...
