Following recent renovations, the rooms showcase a "seamless marriage of the serenity of Asian-inspired hotel style and the effortless, naturally laid back Northern California attitude." Many rooms feature a large private patio or balcony, and most offer stunning ocean views. A highlight for many guests is the presence of a gas or wood-burning fireplace, creating a cozy evening ambiance. Bathrooms are often noted for being "state of the art," some featuring separate sinks, rainfall showers, and deep soaking tubs. High-end amenities such as Duxiana mattresses, Lavazza coffee makers, gourmet snacks, and Frette Italian linens are also mentioned in renovated rooms.

Stayed for a long weekend and had a mixed experience. We stayed in a Sunset View room (Rm 17). Pros: Absolutely gorgeous views from the room and everywhere on the property! The bathroom was excellent with heated floors, claw foot tub, nice shower. Breakfast was good and included! Loved exploring the beach on the property with tide-pools. Cons: Our room shared a wall with another room and the sou...

This place is a most perfect view, anywhere. 31 countries and ocean view rooms in may places - including Venice, Italy and this place just gives you the feel goods. That said, the rooms as a little dated. They were fairly clean and large. We were very happy with the grounds, walking, the allowance for a small puppy in the room (small charge) and overall just a great experience. The breakfast could...

The view is spectacular Anya was so helpful and made our anniversary memorable. The rooms and bathrooms, could use some touch up paint but with these views, it was easy to overlook. The breakfast was great, but I'm sure it changes based on how many guests are booked at the Inn. We'll be back!

On this latest visit, we were delighted to find that our room had an unobstructed view of the Pacific, and the furniture had been very nicely updated. Strolling the gardens has always been a special joy and was no less beautiful this time. However, that’s where the good...

We stayed here for 4 days during our honey moon and the staff treated us so kindly and made us feel very special. The room was beautiful and gave us full visibility to the gorgeous cliffs and waves. One thing to c...

We had an excellent time at the resort. The property offers different rooms with beautiful views, each one breathtaking in its own way. Anya was very helpful and guided us in choosing the room that suited us best, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The included breakfast was a nice touch and added to the overall experience. Although the rooms were recently renovated, we noticed a few scuffs...
