Gas chicken tenders. Free sparkling water. Need I say more? Rooms are pretty cheap as long as there are no local work events, yet rooms are super nice inside, and the decor all over the place is also great. Every week, a singer comes downstairs to perform, and staff have always been nice. I personally came as I was moving and stayed here for a week. Also great gym.

We were passing through the area and booked Ameswell on a whim. What a wonderful property and delightful staff. On site parking deck, quiet location, and a lovely restaurant/bar. Our room was spacious, immaculate maintained, but most notably, great attention to detail (dimmable lights - Thank you!) Ps. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire pit in the evening. Nice touch.

We have stayed at The Ameswell just about every time we are in Mountain View. We have an upcoming stay that might be our 5th or 6th time at the property. The hotel is incredibly consistent. For instance I was slow moving due to a migraine on our check out day ...

Poor service and unprofessional staff. We arrived around 11pm on 24.01.2026. The main entrance was closed and could only be opened if guests scan their room key/card. Our question is: what about guests that haven't received a room key since they've just arrived, like us? What kind of operation is this? Why does this hotel even have its front door locked? Does that mean guests are not welcome for ...

My boyfriend, mother, and I attended the "Bloody Valentine: Til Death Do Us Part" murder mystery dinner on February 14, 2026 at the Ameswell Hotel. The event was held in one of the banquet rooms and the dinner was food from the hotel. The food was terrible. The choices were undercooked steak or a burnt head of cauliflower (vegan option). We selected the steak, but 50-minutes before it was serv...

Stayed here for New Year's Eve for a staycation. I choose a one bedroom suite, and it was very nice. Spacious, comfortable, and nice amenities. Quite a hike from the elevator, and my key card didn't work when I first got to the room, so I had to make the trek back to the front desk. But that got sorted out. Access to the Stevens Creek Trail is nice for a walk. I know this is primarily a hotel for ...
