  • Design: Palm House captivates with its "vibrant design" that blends elegance with modern luxury. The property preserves many of its Mediterranean-style features, including a coral-hued facade and an elegant pool deck, while incorporating refreshed, "sixties-inspired decor". The "fanciful Palm bar," adorned with glamorous pink Murano glass chandeliers, is often noted as a highlight.
  • Amenities: The hotel offers an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and a complimentary beach shuttle. Thoughtful touches include provided beach umbrellas, sun loungers, and towels. The hotel also offers convenient valet parking and provides Land Rover rides for easy island exploration.

3. Room Quality

The rooms at Palm House are described as "meticulously designed luxury hotel rooms" offering refined comfort. They are bright and cheerful, featuring "sixties-inspired decor" with mirrored wall panels, mod table lamps, and king-sized beds with retro-looking upholstered headboards. Guests appreciate the "huge marble bathrooms with soaking tubs" and Juliet balconies. Suites are particularly palatial, boasting curving modular sofas and Art Deco details, with one even rumored to house the largest Alaskan king bed in town. Comfort is paramount, with soft bathrobes, premium bedding, minibars, and turndown service enhancing the stay. Some guests have noted the spaciousness, finding the rooms "wayyyyy bigger than the colony".

4. Dining Experience

Palm House offers a distinctive dining experience, featuring a "chef-driven Palm House Restaurant" with a menu "created by Nobu". This establishment is lauded for its "traditional Japanese cuisine meets vibrant Peruvian flavors" and overlooks a lush pool deck with views of the Atlantic. In addition to the restaurant, there's a cafe and a bar/lounge. While some offers include breakfast for two, there are mixed reviews regarding the breakfast quality and options.

5. Service & Staff

The service at Palm House is a consistent highlight, frequently cited as "phenomenal". Guests praise the staff for their "gracious hospitality," friendliness, and accommodating nature, noting that requests are quickly fulfilled. While specific price ranges are not detailed, it operates as a luxury boutique hotel in a high-end destination. Special offers, such as 20% off suites with breakfast and champagne upon arrival, aim to enhance value. However, some guests have felt the rooms were "just ok for the cost," expecting a more "grand" experience for the price.

8. Common Complaints

Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, a few recurring issues have been noted by guests:

  • Breakfast Quality: The "quality difference between the breakfast and pretty much everything else in this hotel is unheard of and just a shame," with some advising to "stay away from the breakfast".
  • Limited Dining Options: There have been criticisms regarding "not a lot of breakfast or lunch options in room service" and a lack of "specialty coffee on site," sometimes requiring guests to walk to a local coffee shop.
  • Room Views: Some rooms offer views to adjacent buildings or alleyways rather than the beach.
  • Room Amenities: One guest suggested the addition of a full-length mirror in guest rooms.

My girlfriend and I visited Palm House this past Saturday and we were impressed from the moment we checked in. Gina, the hostess, set the tone for an excellent experience. Even on a busy night, she handled the flow of guests with complete professionalism, kept everything organized, and made sure both reservations and walk-ins were taken care of smoothly. She was also very knowledgeable about the N...

We had a fabulous meal at the Nobu inside the hotel. The food was great because Nobu is always consistently amazing. The interiors were beautiful and true to Nobu and Palm Beach. The best part though our waitress named Megan. She was phenomenal!! She coursed everything out perfect, recommended the local items on the menu and took the time to be personable!! Can’t recommend it enough and we will be...

We ate at the restaurant to celebrate a friends birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make it special, helping with setup, cutting our custom cake, offering to take photos, and even putting on the theme song for our “13 going on 30” birthday girl to blow out the candles - without request. Sometimes Palm Beach restaurants can be stuffy and difficult to work with, but I would highly recommend...

Stayed at this small boutique hotel recently and had a mixed but mostly positive experience. The ambiance is beautiful and intimate, and the rooms are very cute and thoughtfully designed. However, there are a few details that could make a big difference — there are no full-length mirrors in the rooms, and housekeeping takes quite a while for such a small space. I also noticed the fridge wasn’t res...

The hotel itself is in a great location. Rooms are fine. But service seems to be broken. Housekeeping wasn’t great. Phone didn’t work in the room so couldn’t call down for room service, valet or bellman. No real minibar in room. Hallways have a very strong air freshener. Breakfast staff wasn’t friendly.

We had an amazing experience at this property. The team is SO helpful and kind which really sets Palm House apart from other hotels on the island. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location is unparalleled - loved walking to La Galoue & Buccan in under 5 minutes. A true gem for both locals & tourists.
