Key Highlights

Guests consistently praise several aspects of O:live Boutique Hotel. The Mediterranean influences and rustic-chic decor create a unique and appealing aesthetic. The hotel's adult-only policy (18+) contributes to a tranquil and romantic atmosphere, making it a popular choice for couples and honeymooners. A major draw is the sophisticated rooftop terrace, featuring a plunge pool and breathtaking views of the Condado Lagoon. Excellent on-site dining and the provision of high-quality amenities like L'Occitane toiletries are also frequently highlighted. The hotel's close proximity to Condado Beach and various attractions is another significant advantage.

The 15 suites at O:live Boutique Hotel are characterized by their modern, stylish, and romantic Mediterranean-inspired design, featuring decor from Provence and Tuscany. Each room is equipped with a queen-size bed, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a smart flat-screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine, and a mini-bar. Thoughtful touches include plush bathrobes, slippers, and designer L'Occitane bath amenities. A standout feature in many suites are the luxurious rain showers with hydromassage jets, and some offer "peekaboo showers" for an intimate experience. Many rooms also boast spacious outdoor terraces or verandas with lounge chairs, and select suites even include outdoor showers or plunge baths, providing multi-sensory experiences. While generally praised, some guests have noted that certain rooms can be "compact" and have "limited closet space".

Dining Experience

O:live Boutique Hotel offers a notable dining experience with its on-site restaurants and bars. Guests can enjoy modern French cuisine at Bardot, which pays homage to the South of France and is led by Chef David Chaymol. The rooftop restaurant and bar, C'est la Vie, provides elevated Mediterranean cuisine and curated cocktails, all while offering awe-inspiring views of the Condado Lagoon. Value & Pricing

Room rates at O:live Boutique Hotel can vary, ranging approximately from $258 to $765 per night. As a luxury boutique and Michelin Key Selected property, it caters to a discerning clientele. On some review platforms, the "value for money" rating is around 7.2 out of 10.

Common Complaints

While largely positive, some recurring criticisms and issues have been reported by guests. These include occasional problems such as a non-functional elevator (under repair), unexpected loud noises, leaking air conditioning units, and issues with hot water or low water pressure in the showers. Some guests have found the room size to be small given the price, and noted limited closet space. Other criticisms include poor lighting in rooms and common areas, and a perceived absence of quality mirrors. One review mentioned an "inconsistent quality of offering" for breakfast and a lack of on-site bar/restaurant at the time, though current information indicates these amenities are available, suggesting this might be an older review or a temporary situation. There were also mentions of renovation work being conducted at the property.

The hotel is beautiful, especially the rooftop pool. There were a few drawbacks at the time of our stay: the hot tub jets were not working, though the water was nice and hot. The rooftop bar area was having some construction done, and even though the food was very good the restaurant kept running out of staples. For example, we paid $50 a day to have breakfast included, but for two days they were ...

I can’t recommend it. The rooms are lackluster at best. For example, the bathroom sink is essentially a pedestal sink - no where to put your things. So they provided a cheap, rusted wire rack. There’s a ring to put the hand towel, but the cheap rack interferes so the hand towel can’t actually hang. The door to the toilet is frosted glass, so there’s ZERO privacy. You can see whoever you’re with si...

My Wife and I just stayed there, I booked originally a petite room, since I was celebrating my birthday, but not only were we greeted like royalty, we got upgraded to the Grand Cru HONEYMOON SUITE! oh my god and the Prosecco!? Dear god these front desk ladies do know how to please their guests! 10/10 would recommend coming to this SLH! The Campos Cortes family has been pleased ! Thank you !

A great spot near condado beach. Neds are comfy. But the rooms leave something to be desired. Staff is friendly and helpful but the bathrooms are very user unfriendly. No room for toiletries around the sink so you're fighting for space on the nightstand. Finicky coffee maker and we can't call these coffee cups. They are espresso sized. If you're a tea drinker you're out of luck as there are no mu...

The hotel is small, low ceilings and smells musty. My sinuses tell me there is a mold hiding somewhere. The bathroom door in the room is frosted glass and provides very little privacy. Our room had no windows to the outside. It was a loud throughout the night. Good location and the sister property rooftop was amazing.

Adults only hotel. The boutique hotel is small with a sister property across the street. The pool at this property is in the rooftop restaurant which seemed to be undergoing some renovation. The Mediterranean themed rooms are unique and so sexy! We stayed in a room with a large outdoor tub for the last night of our honeymoon. We both fit very comfortably. The indoor shower was right in the middle ...
