The ambiance is described as modern, clean, and well-maintained, providing a true wellness experience. Complimentary amenities like tea, water, fruit, and afternoon cakes in the wellness area are also appreciated.

- Design & Ambiance: The hotel blends historic architecture (a half-timbered house and villa) with modern design, particularly evident in the new spa area. The rooms are noted for their tasteful, upmarket, and comfortable design. The overall atmosphere is considered tranquil, relaxing, and conducive to a peaceful stay.

8. Common Complaints
While largely positive, some recurring criticisms include:
- Spa/Pool Area Crowding: The pool area, though beautiful, can become crowded, with an insufficient number of chairs for all guests at peak times. The water temperature in the pool has also been noted as sometimes being too low.
- Breakfast Quality & Variety: While generally good, some guests have found the breakfast to be basic or lacking in options, particularly for those with special dietary needs like gluten intolerance. There have also been isolated comments about fruit flies at breakfast and the quality of some pastries/cakes in the spa area.
- Dinner Quantity: A few guests have mentioned that while the dinner was delicious, the portion sizes were not always substantial.
- Parking: Finding the hotel's underground parking can be challenging, and it may become full, requiring guests to park outside.
- Connectivity of Buildings: The historical complex consists of separate buildings (main house, villa, new spa) that are not always directly connected, sometimes requiring guests to walk through the underground garage.
- Noise: Despite its tranquil setting, some guests have noted occasional noise from the Moselle bridge and planes flying to Hahn Airport.

Nice rooms with view of the Mosel river. Beautiful Spa, with the option of the private spa, which I can highly recommend! Even got to see the Christmas market, so it was just late November. We had a great time!

If you're looking to forget about every day life this is the place to go. We stayed in the newly renovated part of the building, with easy access to the spa and garden. The full package with breakfast and dinner made for a careless existence. The only thing to worry about is whether you want another massage. Dip in the pool or nap in a quiet room after a steam. The personnel is super friendly and ...

Fantastic experience. Great food and wine, very friendly staff, and a nice spa and gardens. The town is nice too, especially if you like wine. Boat excursions leave daily from both sides of the river. Will definitely be back.

Just got back from a 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel. The first thing to say is that the customer service could not have been better. Every staff member was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The spa facilities are gorgeous and wonderfully kept. I had two treatments, very relaxing. The food and wine was delicious. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Absolutely perfect one night stay. Suites are stunning with a view straight over the Mosel and across the bridge to the town. Gym facilities and pool all top quality, only slight disappointment was sauna not being open before 11am. Service was incredibly friendly and all the amenities you could ever need.
