1. Overall Rating & Sentiment
The general sentiment towards MOB Hotel Paris Les Puces is highly positive, with an average rating of "Very Good" (8.1-8.2 out of 10) based on over 3,000 reviews. Many guests describe their stay as "above expectations" and appreciate the hotel's "stylish" and "cool vibe." It is often referred to as a "ground-breaking lifestyle hotel" with a "progressive philosophy."
2. Key Highlights
Guests consistently praise several aspects of the MOB Hotel experience. Key highlights include its distinctive and minimalist design, the friendly and helpful staff, and the overall value for money. The hotel's emphasis on organic food and its vibrant communal spaces, such as gardens, terraces, and a restaurant courtyard that doubles as an outdoor cinema, are also frequently lauded. The property also hosts a cultural program throughout the week.
3. Room Quality
The rooms at MOB Hotel Paris Les Puces are characterized by a functional and minimalist design, often described as more spacious than typical Parisian accommodations. They feature comfortable "palace beds" and are equipped with air conditioning and private bathrooms. Guests are provided with organic and natural cosmetics and a hairdryer. Some rooms offer desirable amenities such as balconies or a lounge/office area. However, some guests have noted that rooms can be small for three people, with extra beds being uncomfortable. Recurring criticisms include a lack of storage (no closet or bedside tables), minimal lighting, and tiled bathrooms that can feel cold. Notably, rooms do not have televisions, aligning with the hotel's progressive philosophy.
4. Dining Experience
The hotel's organic Italian restaurant, Karlito, is a significant draw, serving delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The menu is certified organic and features pizzas as a highlight, with a strong commitment to local produce and sustainable sourcing. While the breakfast is generally well-regarded with a good selection, some guests have found it to be on the pricey side. The hotel also boasts a bar and lounge where guests can enjoy drinks with garden views.
5. Service & Staff
The service and staff at MOB Hotel Paris Les Puces consistently receive high marks from guests. They are frequently described as "friendly," "lovely," "helpful," and "super friendly," contributing significantly to a positive guest experience. The reception is open 24 hours a day.
6. Location & Accessibility
Located in Saint-Ouen, the hotel is situated within walking distance of the renowned Saint-Ouen flea market, approximately 400 meters away. This location is considered ideal for a "youth-culture hotel." The hotel offers convenient access to central Paris via the metro, with Garibaldi station (Line 13) just a 5-minute walk away (500 meters) and Mairie de Saint Ouen station (Line 14) an 800-meter walk. While the immediate area is described as quiet, some guests have expressed feeling unsafe in the evenings or considering the location "far" from central Paris. On-site parking is available for an additional cost.
7. Value & Pricing
MOB Hotel Paris Les Puces is generally perceived as offering good value for money, especially considering the relatively spacious rooms for Paris and its unique amenities. Prices can start from around $71, with average weeknight prices approximately $111 and weekend nights around $116. August is typically the cheapest month to stay, while May tends to be the most expensive.
8. Common Complaints
Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, some recurring issues are mentioned by guests. These include rooms being too small for three people, with the third bed often being uncomfortable. The lack of adequate storage, such as closets or bedside tables, and insufficient lighting in the rooms are also noted. Some guests have experienced issues with the heating system, cold tiled bathrooms, and unstable shower pressure or temperature. The absence of a refrigerator in some rooms has also been a point of feedback. Additionally, a few guests have reported administrative problems, such as delayed refunds.

We came to Paris for the first time and it was a great choice. The bathroom was spacious and the cleanliness impeccable. Wide, clean and comfortable beds. The unbeatable service, and Logan's assistance at the reception was always very good. I would only improve the scrambled eggs at breakfast 😅. Excellent service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel is located very far from all the attractions, so you'll need transportation. There's no closet in the room, just a couple of hangers on the wall, which seems odd. There's no TV, tea or coffee maker, or exhaust fan in the shower, so the room is cool, and the thin walls are very noisy. The bedding was odd. A mandatory deposit is required, which you'll be notified of upon arrival, along wit...

The whole hotel is a gem- clean and comfortable, friendly atmosphere and super nice staff - Good breakfast selection ! Nice coffee too. one only note the room lights settings is not the best - make it too dark and the switches are hard to reach - overall 5 stars ( please message me when the black cat tote bag is back in stock 😭) Highly recommended will definitely be back ❤️ ty

Good but small rooms. Washroom was big. Breakfast buffet was the best food we had in Paris. Very friendly staff. Two suggestion- 1. To have drinking water easily available 2. Electric kettle be available

The hotel and the staff are really lovely, we found everything as promised online - we were so happy to find a place with such a good political mission and sourcing organically food and products. I was surprised to find vegan options less prominent than not vegan ones, no vegan cheese for the pizzas that are promoted as the signature dish of the restaurant. Maybe France is behind in this, but if y...

Stayed here on a business trip for one night. I was charged twice for breakfast, which the hotel acknowledged after I sent the incorrect invoice. However, the refund process was made unnecessarily complicated, with repeated requests for sensitive data and changing instructions. Although the erroneous invoice was never disputed, a refund has still not been issued to this day.
