We visited The Manor House in Castle Combe for afternoon tea for two, and unfortunately I was left feeling somewhat disappointed. I don’t usually post reviews, but felt this was worth mentioning in the hope that the service improves to match the quality of the food and surroundings. Firstly, the setting is undeniably beautiful and the food itself was excellent. The pâtisserie and scones, beautifu...

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Manor House. We stayed the night as a birthday celebration, but also for our last night away before the arrival of our baby. We were delighted to find out on arrival that we’d been given a room upgrade, and found a lovely box of chocolates and handwritten note in our room. This gesture was so lovely, making our stay that extra special and one we won’t forge...

There aren’t enough stars to award to this absolutely stunning hotel and restaurant. The room was spectacular, service and location exceptional. The meal at Bybrook was unbelievably good. The staff took great care to adjust the menu to our dietary requirements (vegan and vegetarian), and we felt thoroughly spoiled. One of the best meals we had ever had.

The Christmas-vibes were on point, the staff were wonderful and super helpful, the food and drinks were wonderful, and the Manor itself, the groun...
