We found Lume the way you’re supposed to find good things — through a person, not an algorithm. Helen, the manager, whom we’d met while cycling across Sicily, promised us it would be worth the visit. She understated the case as Estonians are known to do. Lume sits in residential Ortigia, blessedly removed from the tourist crush that descends on European destinations like a daily invasion — those ...

Lume is that rare gem among boutique hotels, delivering on style, hospitality and professionalism. Everything was on point; the quiet location, tasteful design, and service. Their discreet attention to detail is impressive. It's the small things that left an impression, like the genuine warmth and welcome we encountered, or the nice surprise of returning from breakfast to find that our room has al...

My daughter and I had such a lovely stay at Lùme. Every quaint detail was top-notch, and Seconda was like a little nest to collect ourselves after a week of travel in multiple cities. Ronan has created something truly magical with this boutique property that is more than just a hotel. And Leti - what a treasure she is! Lùme and Ortigia captured our hearts with memories for a lifetime! ♥️

We stayed at Lume Hotel in Ortigia for our honeymoon and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful – the design is so thoughtful and elegant, with every detail carefully considered. We had the large suite, which was incredible in every way. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, just a short walk to the swimming hole and surrounded by ...

The best hotel we ever stayed in! The owners and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. The hotel and rooms are all new and every detail of our room from the doors to the artwork was aesthetically pleasing. Breakfast on the roof was with local ingredients and baked on premise. Throughout the day at the cafe, something new was being made and perfuming the air. 10/10 recommend
