Nov. 2025 • COUPLES The Kronenschlösschen is one of our absolutely favourite restaurants. We have been going there for 20 years or so and have seen many changes and phases. There is a new chef in the kitchen and we experienced the ’soft opening‘. The food has a freshness and a lightness which is, frankly, amazing. Gone are the heavy cream-laden offerings which are so often to be found in restauran...

Had much higher expectations. We were given a room covered in nothing but red with an incredibly loud fan. Pretty fixtures and good breakfast (not worth the cost), you're better off going 20 minutes to Wiesbaden or elsewhere. Non-kitchen staff is generally unfriendly. And given the price, this was nowhere near worth it. Would have been better staying virtually anywhere else, and it's even rougher ...

This is a very charming hotel, we stayed here for 1 night in May 2025. The suite is on the 3rd floor with seating area and marbled bathroom. We love the small touches such as fruits in the room as well as sherry. The wonderful young man helped to carry our luggage to the room, as there's no elevator. Note that there's no AC as well although we didn't need it. Location is perfect to explore the Rhe...

Stayed for 1 night to visit the Rhine. Hotel is charming but with modern (if small) rooms. The guesthouse accommodations include a fan to combat summertime heat. While a little cramped, the bed was fine and the bathroom all updated and clear, with a rain-style shower. There's not much in the village but Eltville is only 4KM away and is nice to wander through. Across the road is a wine bar and cafe...

I have enjoyed my stay for sure. Rooms at Guesthouse have airco, rooms in main building don’t. Young man at reception welcomed us very pleasantly and immediately offered to help with our luggage. Breakfast is good and stuff brought some water and snacks for my dog every morning. Especially recommended is Bistro restaurant at the hotel.

Fantastic. We didn't eat lunch .. But from the other guests it looked magnificent. We had tea and cake. The cake was amazing and fresh. The tea delicious and the service perfect. I would recommend for romantics, business events or special occasions. I could easily fall in love with this place.
