The seamless integration with the winery provides opportunities for guided cellar tours and wine tastings, which are highly appreciated. The elegant and contemporary design, furnished with high-quality Italian pieces, is another significant highlight. The exclusive panoramic terrace, perfect for aperitifs at sunset, and the access to a wellness area at the nearby Cascina Galarej (featuring a heated pool, sauna, Turkish bath, and gym) also contribute to the luxurious experience.
3. Room Quality
The rooms at Hotel Diffuso Le Case dei Conti Mirafiore are described as elegant, comfortable, spacious, and modern. They feature luxurious Italian design elements, including Poliform furniture, Rubelli fabrics, and Artemide lighting, along with Gessi bathrooms. Amenities typically include air conditioning, a mini-bar, in-room safe, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and complimentary artisanal bath products made with Fontanafredda wines. A unique feature is the in-room glass-fronted cooler stocked with a selection of Fontanafredda and Casa E. di Mirafiore wines at reasonable prices.

Guests have praised the excellent quality of the food at the hotel's restaurants.
Breakfast receives positive feedback, often described as a diverse gourmet buffet with fresh local ingredients, including sweet pastries and à la carte egg dishes. 8. Common Complaints
While overall feedback is highly positive, a few minor recurring issues have been mentioned by guests:
- Pool Access Fee: Some guests expressed surprise and dissatisfaction with an extra fee for accessing the swimming pool, wishing it was included for all guests. Access to the wellness area at Cascina Galarej, including the heated pool, is described as "exclusive" for hotel guests.
- Breakfast Variety (minor): One guest mentioned "little variation" in breakfast during their stay, though the quality was still highly praised. Another noted that while the food was very good, the breakfast room was "not super charming" and more oriented towards bigger groups, with no possibility to eat outside.
- Car Damage Incident: A single, notable complaint mentioned a guest's car being damaged overnight and a lack of assistance or functioning cameras from the hotel, which led to a very negative review. However, this appears to be an isolated incident and not a widespread complaint.

There was a small hiccup during the booking process related to details saved on the third-party platform, but the staff explained everything kindly by email and resolved it smoothly. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you’re here for the winery tour or visiting Guido Ristorante. That said, the bathroom needs improvement. The glass shower door didn’t open/close properly, and the shower area se...

There's a mini fridge in the room (charges apply, but are very reasonable), along with full sized bottles of wine available (don't worry, there's a wine opener and wine glasses available in the room😉). The Chinotto that was in the mini fridge was the best that we had so far. The breakfast exceeded our e...

I visited here back in 2012, but remember it very fondly. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. My entire experience at Fontanafredda was exceptional, and I purchased a case of the 2012 La Rosa Barolo just recently at home because of it.

Very comfortable hotel distributed in a few buildings belonging to the winery estate. Rooms are brand new and nicely decorated with some great views on the vineyards. Service is very good.
