Spent two nights at Grand Hotel Savoia for a quick trip to Genoa. Rooms are quite comfortable, with luxurious beds and black-out shutters - helped keep the early morning city noise muffled, too. Main lounge on first floor is opulent, with plenty of comfortable seating, quality bar service, and an atmosphere reminiscent of a more glamorous period in Genoa. Live music on some nights, piano primar...

We had a great experience staying at this hotel for 4 nights. The rooms were very nice, comfortable and very clean. The service was excellent, the personnel was very helpful and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed, also organising a baby sitter for our 3 year old son. We also tried the spa and we found it a great addition to our stay. Recommended for couples and families.

This Hotel was , without a doubt, in top 1% of places I’ve stayed. The service is amazing, the room is beautiful and well appointed and the free continental breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. We are staying two nights before leaving on a Transatlantic cruise.

Nice hotel — but a baffling and frustrating experience at the front desk. At check-in, we were greeted not with a welcome, but with a banner about a “gratitude payment” — essentially a voluntary tip scheme. Since we were only staying one night and had no meaningful interaction with staff, I called to opt out. I was told they would “check my bill” to make sure it was removed. Next morning? Still ...

We love it so much! We have chosen to stay here before and after the cruise because it is so close to the cruise terminal. Everything is so elegant, staff very amabile, rooms, the last floor terrace, bed so comfortable! We definitely want to come back and stay again here and spend more time in Genova which is so beautiful. ⭐️😍👏
