Transformed from a former textile factory, the hotel offers a distinctive experience that is both stylish and comfortable.

The "honesty bar" is often mentioned as a delightful and convenient feature.

3. Room Quality

The rooms at Hôtel Fabric are described as spacious for Paris, featuring a contemporary decor with a nod to the building's industrial past, including high ceilings and large industrial windows that provide ample natural light. They are quiet and comfortable, with cozy beds. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a minibar, and free Wi-Fi. The private bathrooms are a particular highlight, often noted for their beautiful black stone tiles, elegance, and oversized rain showers, complemented by organic and French-made Terre de Mars bath products. The area is considered safe for walking and boasts numerous local restaurants, bars, shops, and markets, including the Popincourt food market. Accessibility to major Parisian attractions is excellent, with multiple metro stations like Oberkampf (450 meters away) and Saint-Ambroise (a 4-minute walk) nearby, allowing for easy connections to destinations such as the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is also conveniently close to the charming Le Marais neighborhood.

7. Value & Pricing

Guests generally consider Hôtel Fabric to offer "affordable luxury" and good value for money, reflected in an 8.9 rating for value. Prices typically range from approximately $144 to $583, depending on the room type and time of booking.

However, these are infrequent and do not detract significantly from the overall positive guest experience.

Friendly staff and lots of fabrics and other things. When I visit a store like this I wish my hobby was sewing. Maybe one day :) came to grab some small cut pieces. There are some for 1 euro and 2,99 euro on different floors.

A paradise for fabric lovers. Endless options for textiles, patterns, and creative projects. It feels authentic and practical rather than trendy — which makes it even better. Highly recommended for anyone who loves sewing, design, or crafting.

Beautiful fabrics with a wide choice. Prices are correct but not cheap. However, I recommend checking if your fabric has been cut straight. I lost 0.5m due to uneven cutting. When I reported the issue and requested a discount (as I live in Belgium and wasn’t planning a return trip to Paris), I included pictures to explain the situation. Despite this, I received the same response twice, asking me ...

I was at Marché Saint Pierre today and unfortunately my experience was not good. The staff on the first floor were not friendly at all. I understand that there are signs saying you have to pay on each level, but I simply wanted to pair the fabric I chose on the first floor with another fabric on a different floor that I had noticed before. The lady at the cashier shouted at me to pay first, and wh...

This is the largest fabric store I have ever seen. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You can also find everything you need to make clothing and window treatments on the 5th floor.
