Common Complaints

While generally very positive, some minor criticisms have been noted:

  • Room Views/Size: One guest reported a room (208) with a small window facing a "dull parking lot" and found the bathroom tight, suggesting the room fell short of a "luxe experience." However, most reviews praise room spaciousness and views.
  • Air Conditioning: The same guest noted the AC either blew hard or had to be switched off.
  • Employee Feedback: While guest service is highly rated, internal employee reviews on platforms like Indeed.com mention issues with pay, opportunities for raises/promotions, and management support in some departments, as well as the quality of employee meals. These are internal complaints and do not directly reflect guest experience.

Nice location: felt very safe, tucked away but still walkable to St.Stephen green, Dublin castle, Trinity college, etc. Catholic Church just behind a wall and Hertz car rental one block away. Taxi arrives in 3 min if needed! Breakfast: a real treat! Waitstaff was pleasant and the menu had nice options. Service: staff was friendly and accommodating. Graciously provided a $75/per night rollaway bed ...

DJ’d here for a private function. Beautiful hotel. Load-in not too easy. Bringing trolley with equipment through hotel reception isn’t ideal. Staff helpful and friendly. Event space is outdoors under a canopy, can get cold and heaters can get hot beaming down on you. Overall though, I would recommend this hotel for any event. Need a DJ for this venue? This is a three star hotel on a good day — for the price of a five star hotel. The room was TINY with so much furniture that it was difficult to move about the room. The bathroom was also TINY with only a shower. The sink counter was so small that there wasn’t even enough room for a toothbrush! The towel warmer was broken which I told the staff and was assured would be fixed. No one came to repair...

This is a boutique hotel, in the city center but a bit further from the noisy streets which I loved. It has it’s own little area at the end of a small street which is great. Restaurants and supermarkets very close by. The rooms are decent although way too many furnitures, which made it more crowded that it needed to be. There was no kattle in the room and the espresso machine didn’t function perfe...

I found my stay at the Dylan Hotel to be quite disappointing due to the exorbitant prices. A bottle of water costs €9.50, which feels like a complete rip-off, especially considering it only costs around €2 elsewhere. Even pint-sized beer is similarly overpriced. the quality of the food left much to be desired. During one meal, I unfortunately discovered an ant in my plate, which was quite off-putt...

Unfortunately can't recommend this hotel. - The hotel room was probably the loudest I've ever stayed in. The bedroom looked directly out onto the hotel's bin store. We kept being woken up by hundreds of glass bottles being poured into the bins. The hotel is also right beside Searson's (famous Irish pub), so you can hear every conversation customers are having outside in the smoking area. We said ...
