3. Room Quality
Casadelmar offers 34 elegant rooms and suites, along with a luxurious private villa, all of which are sea-facing and include huge private, furnished terraces with panoramic views over the bay. Amenities include flat-screen TVs with satellite and cable channels, dressing rooms, and generous, excellent private bathrooms equipped with a bath, shower, bathrobes, hairdryers, and slippers.
4. Dining Experience
The hotel's culinary offerings are a significant highlight. The main restaurant, "Le Casadelmar," holds two Michelin Stars and is led by Italian Chef Fabio Bragagnolo. Chef Bragagnolo’s cuisine is inspired by both Corsica and Italy, focusing on simple Mediterranean ingredients to create subtle, harmonious flavor combinations with a light, contemporary style. Dishes are often described as "incredible edible artwork" and the dining experience as "masterful from start to finish," culminating in delicate, low-sugar desserts.
In addition to the gourmet restaurant, guests can enjoy The Grill and Lounge Bar, which serves healthy Mediterranean cuisine, often incorporating aromatic herbs from the hotel's kitchen garden. The Lounge Bar also provides stunning panoramic views of Porto-Vecchio Bay. In-room breakfast on private decks is a popular option for guests to savor the morning views.
5. Service & Staff
The service at Casadelmar is consistently praised for its excellence and attentiveness. Guests frequently describe the staff as "excellent and personalized," "present and reactive," and "impeccable." Reviewers often cite specific examples of exceptional hospitality, such as attentive managers and precise, multilingual service.
6. Location & Accessibility
Casadelmar enjoys a "dream location" on a peninsula just outside the town of Porto-Vecchio, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and set within nearly three hectares of lush gardens. It is conveniently located minutes from Porto-Vecchio's town center and some of southern Corsica's most beautiful beaches, including Palombaggia Beach (2.7 miles away). Porto Vecchio Port is a 15-minute drive. The nearest airport is Figari, from which guests typically take a taxi to the hotel. For added convenience and luxury, the hotel offers private transfers and can arrange helicopter tours.
7. Value & Pricing
As a luxury Michelin One-Key property, Casadelmar operates at a premium price point. While Hotels.com notes that it is "costly," it is also deemed "truly worth every penny" by many guests, reflecting that the exceptional quality of service, amenities, and overall experience justifies the expense. On Booking.com, the "Value for money" scores 6.7 out of 10, indicating that while guests recognize the high quality, the pricing is a significant factor in their assessment.
8. Common Complaints
Despite its luxurious standing, common recurring complaints are notably absent in guest reviews. While the "Value for money" score on some platforms might suggest that the high cost is a consideration for some, it is rarely articulated as a direct complaint, but rather an expected aspect of such a high-end experience. Overall, Casadelmar consistently meets or exceeds the high expectations of its discerning clientele.

For the price point, expected a bit more. Wonderful service and food though something that always annoyed me at certain high end hotels is why they still want to charge for additional water. 15 euros for eggs at breakfast. Or a beach towel for 7 euros a day. People paying 1200 Euros a night can afford it but it leaves a bad taste in the mouth, especially with other high end who often include al...

(Especially with the price point it’s not supposed to be just ok) There is no beaches in the hotel but there is in there sister hotel I honestly would have gave them 2 stars if it’s not for the lady who drive the boat to take us there ,I added the third star . I feel like...

This is a really fun hotel. Absolutely stunning views and gorgeous rooms. There’s so much to see and do around the property. The breakfast is included and it’s absolutely fantastic. The linens are luxurious.

5 star setting. 1 star delivery. This hotel charges outrageous prices for what it delivers. Then charges extra for water in the room €11, a cooked egg at breakfast €15, a towel for the beach €7. The tiny mini bar is €10 for water. The staff are embarrassed and apologetic but the management continue to try and fleece their customers at every possible turn despite charging £1300 for a very basic, s...

From the moment you walk in the door this place exudes luxury. Everything is wonderful. The views were outstanding. The pool was amazing. I wish I could have stayed longer. I would not hesitate to book again and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Breakfast was very good and dinner was too.
