We had afternoon tea here which was served outside. This meant we could enjoy the verdure oasis of the hotel, a definite plus. The food was excellent, mostly sweet treats with a nod to the savouries. Portion size is perfect as the food is rich and full of flavour. The hot chocolate is really good, the consistency of custard and reasonably dark. Service is pleasant. For the high prices, I expected much better quality, but unfortunately everything was bad — even the food wasn’t clean, and when I asked them to cook it again, it came the same.
