2. Key Highlights
Guests are particularly charmed by the hotel's blend of modern elegance and serene ambiance, which creates a truly luxurious and tranquil atmosphere. The opulent lobby sets a tone of grandeur and sophistication from the moment of arrival. Key highlights include its stunning interior décor, designer furniture, and an enchanting Asian theme, often enhanced by atmospheric mood lighting. The hotel's facilities, rated 9.0, offer a well-equipped fitness center, a tranquil spa (featuring massage, a hot tub, sauna, and steam room), and a serene garden oasis. Thoughtful touches, such as a refreshing welcome cocktail (the "White Lotus") and complimentary chocolates at turndown, further enhance the guest experience. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
3. Room Quality
The hotel features 38 meticulously designed rooms that emphasize comfort and style. Guests describe the rooms as "spacious and convenient," "beautiful," and "impeccably clean and comfortable," with furnishings of "truly 5-star quality." The distinctive design combines French and Asian influences, incorporating rich red and gold hues, genuine Macassar wood furniture, and modern red lacquer. In-room amenities are luxurious and comprehensive, including air conditioning, plush bathrobes, daily newspapers, Bang & Olufsen flat-screen TVs, Nespresso machines, mini-fridges, and generous closets. Bathrooms are equally impressive, featuring soothing rain shower heads and striking standalone dragon-mosaic bathtubs, with some suites boasting extravagant Jacuzzi baths. The top-tier Buddha Suite spans 839 sq ft and includes a freestanding fireplace and a cosmetic corner. Large windows offer views of the Old Town, though thick curtains are typically drawn to maintain the hotel's aesthetic. Additionally, each room provides a Handy mobile device for complimentary internet access, international calls, and city guides.
4. Dining Experience
The dining experience at Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague receives high praise, particularly for its breakfast. Guests consistently rate it as "fabulous," with an "extensive choice" and some proclaiming it the "best breakfast I've ever had in any hotel ever." The breakfast features hot food cooked to order in small batches, ensuring freshness and delicious taste, complemented by excellent service. The Siddharta Cafe, where breakfast is served, also offers an eclectic European-Asian fusion menu throughout the day. For an exquisite gourmet experience, the Buddha-Bar restaurant, located within the hotel building, specializes in out-and-out Asian cuisine, including fresh sushi, and is highly regarded by guests. The hotel prides itself on offering an "eatertainment" atmosphere.
5. Service & Staff
The service and staff at Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague are consistently highlighted as "exceptional," with a staff performance rating of 9.3. Guests frequently commend the team for being "friendly" and going "above and beyond" to cater to their needs. 6. Location & Accessibility
Boasting a "remarkable location rating of 9.7," the Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague is ideally situated in the vibrant heart of Prague's Old Town. Its prime position offers convenient walking access to numerous popular attractions, including the Old Town Square (a 6-minute walk), Charles Bridge (approximately 1 km), and the Jewish Museum (550 meters). The fashionable Parizska shopping street is also nearby. The hotel benefits from excellent public transport links, with the Újezd tram stop, Funicular Railway, and several metro stations (Muzeum, Malostranská, Můstek, Staroměstská) all within easy reach. Prague Main train station is also in proximity. The hotel is approximately a 30-minute drive from Vaclav Havel Prague airport. Despite its central location, the hotel is situated on a quiet street in the old center, ensuring a peaceful stay.
7. Value & Pricing
The Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague is recognized for its "excellent value for money," holding a rating of 8.9 in this category. Guests appreciate the competitive pricing given the high level of luxury and amenities offered. While the average room price is around $274 per night, deals can sometimes be found for as low as $120, making it an "incredible value for discerning travelers" seeking a memorable stay.
8. Common Complaints
While generally highly praised, some minor points of feedback have been noted by guests. The Buddha-Bar restaurant, though located within the hotel, is managed independently, meaning dinner bills cannot be charged directly to the room. The hotel does not have its own on-site gym, but it compensates by offering free passes to the nearby Fitness Kotva, which provides extensive workout facilities. The spa features only one treatment room, so advanced booking is recommended to secure desired appointments. Additionally, while valet parking is available, the hotel's highly walkable location often makes foregoing a personal vehicle the preferred option for exploring the city. For families, children under 12 can stay free when using existing beds, but rooms may not accommodate extra beds. Extra beds for older children or adults incur an additional cost and are subject to availability. Pets are welcome for an extra fee of €40 per night, which includes a pet bed and a welcome treat.

What can I say other than this was absolutely stunning! The hotel is more than 20 years old an looks like it was built yesterday inside and out. The service was outstanding living up to the true Budda Bar theme. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel like nothing is too much. In terms of prices I was worried seeing the comments below...this is all un true! The prices are relative ...

🌟 My Review of Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague I recently stayed at the Buddha-Bar Hotel in Prague to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Overall, the experience was good, as most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself has a cozy and unique atmosphere (though it does feel a bit too dark at times). The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the main attractions, though unfortu...

Tired decor, ineffective air conditioning, distinct lack of facilities, I felt sorry for the staff who tried their best to be helpful. I’ve just returned from a 4 day stay at this so called 5 star hotel and not one of those days was the bar and restaurant open to residents. Apparently closed ordinarily on Sunday and Monday, the management also saw fit to outsell the bar area to private functions o...

The staff were so lovely and helpful. The rooms were so hot that we had to turn off the heating and open the windows in our room. We stayed 4 nights Sunday - Wednesday ( we cancelled our last night) the hotel bar was closed Sunday Monday and had a private functions Tuesday and Wednesday. We had breakfast the first morning then choose to eat healthier else where as the coffee was poor

I’ve traveled a lot of places, and for whatever reason I’ve always loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly and the rooms are beautifully decorated. I’m coming back 8 years later and I feel the rooms haven’t aged one bit and it’s everything I remember it being and then some. Well done staff for maintaining such a beautiful and unique hotel! I’ll be back again soon!

We stayed at Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague to celebrate my birthday and chose their Romantic Getaway package, which promised a private couple’s massage in a room with a Jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. The package clearly stated a private room massage with a Jacuzzi, but in reality, it was not a couple’s massage at all. Each of us was scheduled separately, one after...
