The hotel's ability to blend historic character with modern comfort is a significant draw.
3. Room Quality
The rooms at American Trade Hotel are described as spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, featuring a "rustic, minimalist design with vintage touches" and mid-century modern furniture. Fantastic building. Lovely interior and room. Tiny cold pool. Hotel seemed very empty but no upgrade or extra attention / never expect it but was surprised - even ordering food took a while while staff were chatting and practically zero customers. The AC was absolutely freezing in the lobby and restaurant area - way too cold. Not the warmest welcome or service from front desk, maybe they’re gong f...

The rooms are dark. The decor is nice, but the grout in the subway tiles need a deep cleaning, the plumbing needs some attention due to the rumbling of the pipes from other rooms disturb sleep. Due to it's central location in Casco Viejo it's so easy to get anywhere by walking. The noise level is off the chain here, but the hotel supplies guest with earplugs. The views are amazing. You can't ...

Going to go ahead and start off by saying me and my girlfriend have been at a number of boutique hotels around the world and the service and vibe coming from this one is up there with the best. Yes there is some noise but you are located at the central of a lively town, if that is not what you’re looking for maybe casco Viejo is not for you in general. If you value sleeping in look elsewhere as th...

Really beautiful building and hotel BUT you need a coat! It was always sooooo ridiculously COLD inside. We would have eaten in the restaurant and spent more time in the bar if only we didn’t freeze. Staff are great, rooms, breakfast… everything is wonderful, if only you didn’t freeze every time you walked in! You even can’t see outside because the windows they are so covered in condensation!!!

Would not recommend this hotel. Yes it’s in a great location, but it is LOUD at night. But that is not why the 3 star review. 1. The shower leaks requiring 6 towels to wipe up the water after every shower, 2. I had my pjs washed after 2 weeks of traveling to find them smelling worse than when I sent them off, 3. My breakfast order has been wrong every order, 4, the staff has not been friendly at...
