One of the best, if not the best, hotels in the area, although an espresso machine would be expected in a 5-star hotel bedroom.

Very sophisticated hotel in a great location. Sadly we didn’t stay here but we went for an afternoon drink to bask in the glorious sunshine. My kids looked longingly at the outdoor pool which did look very nice! Unfortunately I don’t think my kids are well behaved enough for me to properly relax at this hotel - there’s definitely an air of “children should be seen but not heard” which is perfectl...

The Hochfirst is a well-run hotel. The service and food are absolutely first class, and the spa is modern and clean. The Skiroom is well organized and very useful and you can walk straight to a lift that takes you to the slopes. I gave the room four stars because it was overheated and wasn’t possible to cool down without having the window open, and there can be some road noise as the hotel is on t...

The rooms are basic, with uncomfortable pillows and blankets. Housekeeping often forgets to provide towels and other essentials. The food is terrible. To reach the ski lift, you have to walk about 150 meters carrying your skis. The sauna and swimming pool close at 7:00 PM, which is quite early. While I was in the sauna, a hotel staff member entered at 6:55 PM, informed me that it was closing, lef...
