The rooms and interior of the hotel is very beautiful. Especially the library on the second floor. The service is great by the staff always there to help. The only downside i would say is the breakfast options was not many too many pork options, the WiFi in the room was horrible but it did work fine in the library/lobby, the jacuzzi wouldn’t get hot. But other than that great service by the staff ...

Our stay here was fabulous! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and adorable. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had. We really enjoyed going up to the rooftop to watch the sun set. Unfortunately, the hot tub was closed on our stay, but otherwise everything was great! We were walking distance to lots of great restaurants and sites, would recomme...

Beautiful themed boutique hotel in the middle of the old town, not too far from the ferry. We loved our room, which was styled after the Uruguayan painter. Great-sized, comfortable bed, excellent shower. Enjoyed the view from the rooftop. Very kind staff - thank you for your helpful suggestions about the local restaurants. Good breakfast. The wifi in the room is a little spotty but it is understan...

This was such a lovely hotel with impeccable service. Although staff is minimal, every one of them went far and beyond to help us with anything that we needed. The included breakfast was so tasty and sumptuous that it will be missed! Yes, it’s an older building but it is very well maintained but because it is older there are very minor plumbing issues. The neighborhood may appear sketchy at first ...

This excellent hotel is right in the centre of the old centre of Montevideo and the major sights are in easy walking distance. The hotel is a true “Boutique” filled with interesting antiques from the crockery to furniture and furnishings. Each room is decorated differently and inspired by someone local, either an artist or writer or historical figure. In our room there was a description of the act...
