There were also mentions of missing kettles or water in rooms upon check-in, which were promptly rectified when brought to the staff's attention.

This is an incredible hotel located in the heart of Salamanca. It’s walkable to almost everything. The service is excellent, and the staff are warm and friendly. I felt very well taken care of and feel that the price is worth it per night for the level of service that you receive. The room was spacious. The bathtub was HUGE. They even have a turn down service, left chocolates on the bedside table ...

Great hotel in the Barrio de Salamanca, very convenient for shopping, dining, and easy connections to other neighborhoods in Madrid. We’ve been visiting for years and it’s always consistently good. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Love it.

The hotel is undeniably beautiful and the location is fantastic. That said, the rate per night is frankly unreasonable for the level of service, room size, and amenities. Effectively, if you stay at TOTEM, you’re paying for the location. The front desk staff weren’t unfriendly but they weren’t exactly warm or welcoming either. The room was nice but very small. I did love the view on to the beautif...

Wonderful stay! The hotel is located in a very elegant and quiet area, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was spotless, well-organized, and truly refined. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — especially Daniel, who made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here every time I visit Madrid without a second thought!

The location is excellent. The parking is very narrow, but someone can help you park. The parking area is decent and enclosed. I didn’t really like the hotel itself — the price is clearly overpriced. For breakfast, you can choose items from the menu.

Beautiful hotel, but frankly at this price point, another level of service is expected. Grumpy and unhelpful staff at reception.
