Review scores from various platforms often range from 9.0 to 10 out of 10. Guests frequently laud the property's stunning aesthetics, prime beachfront location, and the comfort of its accommodations.
2. Key Highlights
Guests consistently praise several aspects of The Palms:
- Location: Its direct access to Grace Bay Beach, often ranked among the world's most beautiful white sand beaches, is a major draw. The pristine private beach and the clear turquoise waters are frequently highlighted.
- Design & Grounds: The property itself is described as gorgeous, lush, and like a tropical paradise, with meticulously manicured gardens and British colonial-style architecture. The main outdoor infinity pool, with its serpentine shape, shaded swim-up bar, and zero-entry points, is a favorite feature.
- Amenities: The 25,000 square foot spa is highly regarded as one of the best in the Caribbean, offering a serene experience and a variety of treatments. Other popular amenities include a well-equipped fitness center, tennis courts, complimentary non-motorized water sports, and a children's club. Complimentary airport transportation and concierge services are also appreciated.
- Breakfast: The complimentary daily breakfast, served in a charming garden setting, is frequently mentioned as a highlight, featuring fresh options and an omelet station.
3. Room Quality

- Spacious Layouts: All suites come with ample space to relax and include private terraces or balconies.
- Luxurious Appointments: Rooms boast king-sized beds with custom hand-tufted bedding, marble floors, vaulted ceilings with crown moldings, wainscoting, and custom-made mahogany furnishings.

- In-Room Amenities: Standard amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, cable television, DVD/CD players, coffee and espresso makers, signature robes, and electronic safes. Some suites also offer in-suite laundry.
4. Dining Experience
The resort offers a range of dining experiences:
- Parallel23: This fine-dining restaurant is open for dinner and features stunning al fresco dining on a wide terrace or in a chic dining room. It's known for inventive high-end cuisine, often incorporating local delicacies with Asian or African influences, and a display kitchen with a wood-burning oven.
- 72°West: This family-friendly, Caribbean-inspired restaurant offers lighter fare, with dinner served seasonally in an outdoor setting with fire pits and comfortable lounges, often right on the beach.
- Breakfast Garden: A complimentary American breakfast buffet with an omelet station is served here in a beautiful courtyard amidst tropical plants.
- Bars: Three bars are available: the interior L'attitude Bar, a beachside bar, and a pool bar (including a swim-up bar).
- Sister Properties: Guests can also utilize a complimentary shuttle to dine at sister properties like The Shore Club and The Sands, which offer additional dining options like SUI-REN (sushi grill) and Hemingway's.
While the quality of the food is generally praised, especially the breakfast and fine dining at Parallel23, some guests have found the dining options to be limited or have had mixed experiences with certain restaurants.
5. Service & Staff
Feedback on service and staff at The Palms is somewhat mixed but generally positive. Many guests report "exemplary" service and describe the staff, particularly in the restaurants and pool area, as warm, kind, and incredibly solicitous. Housekeeping is often highlighted as excellent. However, some reviews mention issues with staff attitude, describing it as occasionally unfriendly or rude, particularly from front desk or concierge services, and some have noted inconsistencies in beach service.

- Nearby Attractions: The resort is within a short walk or drive of local attractions such as Providenciales Beaches, Princess Alexandra National Park, Salt Mills Plaza, and The Regent Village for shopping.
- Transport: The resort offers complimentary airport transportation. Shuttles are also available to sister properties for dining options. While many amenities are on-site, a car rental is not strictly necessary for guests planning to mostly stay on the property or utilize shuttles.
- Accessibility: The hotel is considered barrier-free with easy access for wheelchairs, and offers lifts and well-lit paths.
7. Value & Pricing
The Palms Turks and Caicos is positioned as a luxury property, and its pricing reflects this. Room rates can vary significantly, with typical prices ranging from approximately $674 to $2,537 per night, though some premium suites can exceed this, with prices reaching over $10,000 for specific multi-bedroom options. While the price is higher than the city average, many guests feel it offers exceptional value for the unparalleled luxury, world-class amenities, and prime beachfront location. The inclusion of daily breakfast is often seen as a significant perk.
8. Common Complaints
While largely positive, some recurring criticisms include:
- Service Inconsistencies: Despite many positive comments on staff, some guests have experienced instances of unfriendly or rude service, particularly from certain staff members or at the front desk. Inconsistent beach service for drinks and water has also been noted.
- Limited Dining Options (Perception): Although the resort has multiple dining venues and offers shuttles to sister properties, some guests have felt the on-site dining options were somewhat limited or that the quality of certain restaurants (e.g., SiSi) was not always consistent.
- Outdated Amenities: A few reviews mention some amenities feeling outdated, though recent renovations aim to address this.
- Privacy Concerns in Suites: In some instances, guests booking one-bedroom suites have found that the second bedroom of their suite was rented separately, leading to unexpected noise and a reduction in privacy.
- High Costs (Beyond Room Rate): While expected for a luxury destination, the overall cost, including service charges added to every bill, can be a point of contention for some guests.

The staff were the nicest people I have ever encountered on a resort. At the end of the stay they felt like family and my baby girl even ran up and gave Linda, one of the staff, a hug. The resort is very clean with very comfortable rooms. the Mexican food at cicis restaurant was delicious and the complimentary breakfast was also great! It was such a relaxing time and just what my little family nee...

Honestly, we were disappointed. This hotel has no business charging what it does for the rooms. The property is clearly in need of an update — peeling paint, worn-out furniture, and overall it feels tired. I genuinely don’t understand how this is considered anywhere close to a five-star hotel. That said, credit where it’s due: the kitchen staff were excellent. When we caught a fish, they prepared...

We weren’t staying at The Palms Hotel, but I found SiSi Restaurant while looking for great spots on the island and it turned out to be such an amazing find! The food quality was top-notch, the service outstanding, and the whole vibe felt eco-chic and elegant. Our waitress Giovanna was the sweetest - so kind and attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary, and she surprised us with a...

An honest review … Staying here as we speak The resort sits on a beautiful stretch of beach . Beach chairs are plentiful and attendants are happy to help . The pool also has attendants and they are also readily available . In regards to the resort , the resort itself appears dated. Despite a recent 10 million dollar renovation the exterior of the buildings are stained and weathered and overrall th...

We were moved to The Palms after The Shore Club wasn’t open yet and ended up really enjoying our stay. The location on Grace Bay is unbeatable — gorgeous beach and water. Our one-bedroom suite was spacious, though the bed was soft and the resort is starting to feel a little dated. Staff were excellent — especially Arlean at breakfast and Othenal and Nevil at the pool bar, who made lunches fun and...
