Great hotel and restaurant. We stopped there for 1 night just before New Year’s Eve. The hotel is stylish and cosy. Room was quiet and clean. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Great value for price. Staff were very professional and friendly. Special mention to the gentleman that took care of our table for the dinner and breakfast. Passionate and kind. From the moment we arrived at The Lovat in Fort Augustus, we felt genuinely welcomed, not just checked in. The warmth of the greeting set the tone for a stay that felt personal, thoughtful and quietly exceptional throughout. The festive atmosphere was magical. Fireside Christmas carols with complimentary mulled wine and mince pies created a sense of togetherness that was relaxed, joyful and authe...

Wow fantastic stay over Christmas. We felt very welcome from the first moment at the Lovat Hotel. We booked the master room and were very impressed of this fantastic room with bathtub, view on Loch Ness and personal christmas tree. Singing carols at the fireplace was a very heartwarming atmosphere. We also had the big 9 course menu at the restaurant. Delicious menu and unique experience with local...

Everything else is great, we had a Tasting Menu and ...

Pleasant and very clean room close to the lake and centre of town. We arrived here on Christmas Day and prior to our arrival the reception team checked in to make sure that we would have everything we need and offered us food hampers since everything in the town was closed. (The food hamper itself was very delicious and filling with a lot of variety!) Really great service that made our stay very p...
