Rooms are spacious, filled with natural daylight, and feature modern decor with intricate Rajasthani details, such as zardozi embroidery, white marble surfaces, and a soothing color palette of blue, navy, and gold. Guests can expect deeply comfortable beds, a decent pillow menu, walk-in wardrobes, and spacious en-suite bathrooms stocked with the hotel's signature Tishya products. Higher-end accommodations like the Royal Villas offer private plunge pools or courtyards, while the Maharaja Suite provides the pinnacle of luxury with additional features like two terraces and an eight-seat dining room.
4. Dining Experience
The Leela Palace Jaipur offers a diverse and exceptional culinary journey:
- Jamavar (formerly Mohan Mahal): This signature fine-dining Indian restaurant is a standout, inspired by the Sheesh Mahal of Amer Fort. It's India's only restaurant entirely lit by candles, adorned with thousands of hand-cut mirrors and 18-carat gold leafwork, creating a truly spectacular and romantic ambiance. It offers a 5 or 6-course set menu of Rajasthani and Mughlai flavors.
- The Aravalli Dining Room: An elegant all-day restaurant serving a wide selection of Indian and international cuisines for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

- The Amber Terrace: Overlooking the Aravalli Hills, it offers root-to-fruit inspired cocktails paired with modern Asian cuisine.
- Breakfast: The buffet breakfast is consistently described as "excellent" with a wide array of Indian and international choices.
- Unique Experiences: Guests can also enjoy starlit suppers, barefoot breakfasts by the pool, and intimate in-villa dining experiences with curated menus.
5. Service & Staff
The service at The Leela Palace Jaipur is frequently highlighted as a pinnacle of luxury hospitality. Guided by the philosophy of "Atithi Devo Bhava" (the guest is god), the staff is known for being incredibly helpful, well-trained, polite, and professional. A key feature is the dedicated Palace Butler service, acting as a single point of contact to orchestrate every moment of the guest journey, from pre-arrival assistance to personalized itineraries and effortless packing support. Guests report staff anticipating their needs and going above and beyond to create memorable, personal moments, such as surprise birthday cakes and special celebratory arrangements.
6. Location & Accessibility
The Leela Palace Jaipur is located on the Jaipur-Delhi Highway, nestled against the majestic Aravalli range, offering a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle. While some guests note that the initial approach might feel like a "random plot just off the highway," once behind the gates, the experience is pleasantly surprising. It's situated "at a comfortable remove from the city," which allows for a peaceful retreat but means it's "a little far from the city" if the primary goal is extensive sightseeing in central Jaipur. However, its proximity to attractions like Amer Fort (around 10 km) is a plus. The hotel offers complimentary parking and can arrange transfers.
7. Value & Pricing
As a Michelin Two-Keys property, The Leela Palace Jaipur is positioned as a luxury destination, and its pricing reflects this. Room prices for a Grand Villa Twin or Palace King room can start around INR 18,000, with Palace Suites around INR 20,000, Royal Villas with a Courtyard around INR 35,000, and the opulent Maharaja Suite reaching approximately INR 3,60,000 per night. Despite the high cost, many guests feel it offers excellent "value for money" and is "totally worth it" for the unparalleled luxury, service, and experience it provides.
8. Common Complaints
While overwhelmingly positive, some minor criticisms have been noted:
- One guest reported that service at the bar was "a little slow during cocktail hour".
- Another guest mentioned issues with delayed service and tasteless food at one of the restaurants and during high tea, and a missed opportunity for honeymoon preparations despite prior notification. However, these appear to be isolated incidents given the generally stellar reviews for dining and service.
- The hotel's location, while providing tranquility, is "a little far from the city," which some travelers might find a minor inconvenience if frequent trips to Jaipur's city center are planned.

This leela property is a gem. The architecture is amazing, the meenakari work on the walls make it look like the palaces built during the raja maharajas time. It's spread over 9 acres, lush green pathways with illuminated corridors. A perfect royal palace experience. I specially loved the pool location and it's surroundings. A must visit resort when in jaipur. Cheers to team leela :)

The attention to detail and charm you will find at the Leela i havent seen in years in some of the best spots in the world in Japan, Al Ula, Morocco or the Amalfi Coast Upon booking i thought the deco looked pretentious and fake but somehow it works and the resort is wonderful. Seamless luxury, warmth, and atmosphere that the Rambagh fails to deliver. I highly r...
