Overall this was a positive experience and stay. We loved the history and unique & quirky feel of this boutique hotel. We were particularly fond of hanging out in the common spaces- the front two rooms are amazing & since our stay was during the coldest part of winter (so far),we appreciated hanging out by the fireplace. We also enjoyed the bar area downstairs. Breakfast was simple but a variety o...

We had a wonderful day at the hotel Portsmith. The location is perfect. There is free parking on site and the staff were lovely and attentive. There are many little nooks and crannies and this place has charming character in a old Inn sort of way. Some of the furniture is a little soft and tired, but that is part of the charm. There’s nice coffee and breakfast in the morning. This is a great optio...

Has got to be one of the coolest B&Bs I've ever stayed at. The decor is next level--every room is a different experience. Breakfast is amazing. Cookies and coffee available all day. Old speak-easy bar downstairs with games and a pool table. Overall would 100% stay again. Loved it!

Recently stayed there for one night. While quirky furnishings are abundant and the location centralized to downtown and within walking distance to many amenities, the place overall is run down. Window air conditioner when in use is blocked by the dingy blinds rendering it useless when keeping light out. The elevator broken, staff scarce mid week, and bed was terrible. When staff confronted abo...

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was cozy and cute. I had an issue with billing, but I found out it was because a new General Manager was starting. After that, the general manager was extremely helpful and understanding and fixed the issue promptly.

This hotel is definitely different and this is what we loved about it. Not your cookie cutter inn. The staff was friendly, breakfast was nice and very walkable to other areas. Other than the elevator being old and not stopping at certain floors everything was good. Nice that they had a bar, pool table and games to play. Would recommend.

Response from the owner
