It’s an old historic building with tons of history (some of it spooky, don’t read about it right before you try to sleep), but the staff is great. Particular shoutout to Roger, the maintenance staff employee who got my attention in the parking lot to make sure I didn’t need to borrow a scraper for the rental windshield so I’d be able to safely drive. He was a remarkably kind man in a world that se...

I chose the Blackburn for a romantic getaway based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience fell well short of expectations. The biggest issue was comfort. Our room was perpetually cold, as were the floors, which made it difficult to relax or feel cozy—something that really matters for a romantic stay. Adding to this, there is no elevator to the upper floors, which made gett...

The building in the location is lovely, but we were kept up all night by construction materials banging into the emptied out building that was under renovation behind us. It kept us up to the point that we had to switch rooms at 3:00 in the morning. The room that we were placed in didn't seem as big or as nice as the first room that we paid for, and it didn't really alleviate the problem. We were ...

We had a wonderful stay! The grounds are so beautiful and the check in was easy and welcoming. The building feels really clean and homey and our room was so spacious. The 360 lookout is such a fun perk and the staff were so sweet - they graciously offered us a free breakfast when we told them the reason for our stay. Unprompted and so kind of them! Highly recommend booking here!

He was kind, attentive and helpful. Alyssa made me a fantastic and delicious veggie breakfast bowl! Didn’t need hot sauce or anything. Perfection! The staff was above average in every aspect. It’s amazing what a dif...

They had extra drinks you could buy. Not only were really reasonably priced, tasted great. If they do this type of event again. I would DEFINITELY recommend going and also would like to thank everyone involv...
