The suite is spacious, beautifully decorated with historic charm, and full of character while still offering all the modern comforts you need. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and elegan...

The eggs were not properly done (overcooked and therefore dry scrambled) and the quality of the products used (cheese, meats, bread) was very low. In line with pictures of previous reviews. To the owners: Don't cheap out, even if you get the average AH che...

We had a great experience at the Posthoorn hotel @Monickendam. Spacious, luxury and clean room. Beds where not to hard nor to soft and the price of our booking was very reasonable to stay in the vicinity of Amsterdam. Would stay here again in the future.

The owners and employees are so kind and helpful, the breakfasts were delicious and generous (with gluten-free options and anything extra we wanted) and the location is amazing. The suite room was fantastic too - super comfy beds (including the sofa bed mattress which is unheard of!), lots of spa...

Great hotel and restaurant. Perfect for a weekend escape from Amsterdam. The room and spacious and comfortable (air con is great during the Dutch summer)z The staff were friendly and accommodating (we were travelling with a baby). I highly recommend combing a stay with dinner. The restaurant is exceptional. Great food, a quiet intimate dining space, and attentive service. Brilliant!
