I had a great time at this hotel and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are spacious by Japan standards and the location is good. The staff, however, is where this property really shines. Moxy Osaka Honmachi was an excellent base for the first and last leg of our trip. The overall experience for our group on 2-3 Dec was comfortable and welcoming. This place has a great location for walking around multiple districts. The staff and hotel are nice, clean and has laundry on site (great for those sweaty walking days when you go through 2-3 outfits). The beds were pretty hard, but you really only need a place to lay your head in down town. Too many things to do to just lay in bed. Shout out to Owen, Wind, and Gary!

We stayed at the Moxy for two weeks due to a combination of work and vacation time in Osaka. The hotel is in an excellent location between two subway stations, which makes it easy to get to most parts of the city. If you plan to go to the Expo, it is right on the subway line that takes you to the stop at the entrance. There are dozens of small restaurants, including traditional Japanese cuisine, I...
