We took our dog so maybe our room reflected this? It was a bit ‘70’s a bit old but huge with spectacular view over the Loire. Loads of stairs if you are not mobile! Bed incredibly comfortable. Reception for arrival departure were so charming and happy they made our visit special. Bistro Boeuf with foire gras and mashed potato with an amazing jus was a triumph - the staff again happy and welcoming....
