- Spa/Sauna Availability: A significant point of concern has been the temporary closure of the spa's pool, jacuzzi, and sauna facilities due to a "major incident" as of recent reports. While treatments and massages with spa therapists are still available, guests should verify the current status of the full spa area. Some past guests also felt the spa area could be larger.
- Housekeeping Inconsistency: A few guests reported issues with room cleaning and service, including it not being daily, occurring at random times, forgotten coffee replenishment, or full trash bins.
- Minor Staff Feedback: Isolated comments mentioned reception staff could be more proactive in providing information about spa treatments or local attractions, and one instance cited a young male receptionist as less friendly.
- Room Furniture Practicality: One review mentioned a "too-small table" in the room, suggesting some furniture might lack practicality.

Beautiful building and comfortable, fairly spacious rooms with a nice view. The hotel looks great in photos but lacks the typical alpine vibe and cozy mountain resort atmosphere. The lobby often feels crowded and noisy rather than relaxing. Good location – close to restaurants and about a 10-minute walk to the gondola. The spa was not operating in early February.

Recent fire so the spa and pool are out of action. Bright contemporary hotel with comfy beds, good showers, great breakfast and staff. Note there is still a smell of smoke in the corridors. There was a singer with a guitar on the Thursday evening in the lovely bar, the views are spectacular from the hotel, and it is a 10 minute walk to the cable car( or a free shuttle bus) and 5 minute walk into t...

During the holiday season, the hotel was extremely overcrowded, and unfortunately the staff seemed both unable and, at times, unwilling to assist. The one exception was the barwoman, who truly went above and beyond and deserves special mention for her kindness and effort. It was clear the hotel was not properly equipped to handle the busy period, which put a strain on the overall experience. On a...

This is a very classy place and we felt like royalty spending our weekend here. The restaurant had delicious food (try the pizza!), the room was large and offered a beautiful view of the mountains. It's just a short walk to the town center but far enough to make it quiet and peaceful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful – and absolutely fluent in English. We also loved the spa area with ...
