Guests are particularly enchanted by the hotel's tranquil atmosphere and its privileged location on the edge of Doñana National Park, offering breathtaking views of the marshland. The rustic-luxe design, which harmonizes Andalusian tradition with modern amenities, is a recurring highlight. The dedication and attentiveness of the staff also stand out as a major draw for visitors.

3. Room Quality

The rooms at La Malvasía are described as both rustic and elegant, individually decorated with a contemporary and exquisite design. They feature traditional Andalusian elements such as timber ceilings and tiled floors, complemented by modern comforts like air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and soundproofing. Guests often highlight the very comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms equipped with 30-cm rain showers and high-quality, ecological, paraben-free toiletries, along with amenities like bathrobes and slippers. Many rooms offer dreamy balconies or windows with spectacular views of the main marsh of Doñana Natural Park. The hotel is committed to sustainability, utilizing technologies like aerothermal energy and closed water recovery circuits.

4. Dining Experience

The on-site "LaBoca" restaurant receives considerable acclaim, often being described as "delicious" and a "must-try". 6. Location & Accessibility

La Malvasía boasts an "unbeatable location" in the unique village of El Rocío, right next to Doñana National Park. This provides guests with a peaceful retreat and direct access to hiking trails and excellent birdwatching opportunities, as well as the famous Santuario de Nuestra Señora del Rocío. El Rocío itself is described as a fascinating place with a "Wild West" feel, characterized by its wide, sandy streets. While offering tranquility, the hotel is also conveniently located, with the beaches of Matalascañas just 10-19 km away. During summer months (June 15th to September 15th), the hotel offers free transfers to Matalascañas beach. Huelva is a 50-minute drive, and Seville is about an hour away.

Rates generally start from €98, making it an appealing option for a luxury rural escape.

8. Common Complaints

While overwhelmingly positive, some minor criticisms have been noted. One guest experienced a "temperamental" heating system in their room during a cold December stay, suggesting the hotel could improve pre-arrival heating in colder months. Another review, specifically regarding a New Year's Eve party, found the restaurant "ridiculously overpriced for very standard food". There was also an isolated comment about housekeeping not cleaning a washroom optimally. However, these appear to be infrequent issues amidst a sea of positive feedback.

The hotel is a gem in one of the most unique villages in Anadalusia. We adored it, the layout and small touches in the bedroom (and free sherry and stuffed animal :) , and the property is adjacent to a vast natural landscape and the whole area feels like you’ve stepped back in time. Hotel staff were sweet and generous. We had a very quiet and peaceful time here.

This ist just a beautiful place. The hotel is also nice and friendly. You just feel good and relaxed here. Just 1 hour from Sevilla away and you feel yourself in nature fare away from daily stress. There are a lot of activities in the region. And the people in the hotel are helping you to find the right thing.
