The average room rate has been around 259.16 EUR, which is higher than Ürgüp's city average of 141.72 EUR. Despite this, guests often feel the unique and luxurious experience justifies the cost, frequently calling it a "special get away treat" or a "once in a lifetime experience." Travelers looking for more economical rates might find better deals during the low season (typically February and January) and on specific days like Tuesdays or Saturdays. Prices observed on booking sites can range significantly, from around $137 to $428 nightly.

8. Common Complaints

While overwhelmingly positive, some recurring criticisms include issues with the internet/Wi-Fi signal, which guests have reported as weak, variable, or requiring frequent re-logging. The sprawling layout of the cave property means some areas involve a fair amount of walking, which might be a consideration for some guests. There was one specific complaint about a female reception staff member being rude and aggressive. Additionally, some guests have noted that regulating room temperature can be challenging, occasionally leading to stuffy conditions within the cave suites.

The hotel is very close to the center of Ürgüp. It’s a very clean hotel. Even though we visited in winter, the rooms were warm and cozy. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. The staff is very attentive, and the facility is constantly being maintained and cleaned. If I go again, I would definitely stay at this hotel without hesitation. Clean hotel, friendly and caring staff. The rooms, d...

Such an amazing hotel. Brilliant and attentive staff. Unbelievable historical location with views to die for. The rooms are incredibly built into caves and have everything you will need. The hotel is in the heart of Cappadocia so you can do all the touristy things very easily. Even off peak in winter it was amazing. Will be coming again to experience it in the warmer months.

A hotel with history. I think its part of the experience in Capadocia to stay in a cave hotel, you feel more immersed into it. Each room is different since they were actually caves before so rooms adapt to their spaces. The staff was very helpful. It is in the mountains and certain rooms are far away from the lobby, however you don’t need to worry since they have carts to move you around the prope...

Built entirely in stone, with each room designed differently, it feels like a small village frozen in time. The atmosphere is magical and distinctive, offering a truly unique experience. The breakfast deserves a special mention: incredibly rich, with a wide selection of high-quality, ca...

Amazing views and rooms. After all you are staying in a cave. The reason why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was mold in our bathroom. :( I would maybe even go down to 3 stars for this reason but everything else was very quaint and nice. It’s the highest cave hotel in the area so not super walkable to the nearby shops, but there are taxis. Overall it’s a wonderful cave hotel.

This is the most incredible place I have stayed at in my life. The 1st & 2nd floor of room 601 ( where I stayed ) has outdoor terraces with small jacuzzi pools. The villa itself has 3 floors & an elevator inside the villa. It has a Turkish bath area & 2 full bathrooms with stone tubs a giant can stretch out inside them. The closets are built into the stone mountain. The 3rd floor has a fire place ...
