Drift House: A Luxurious Haven of Understated Elegance Arriving on a blustery July day after a night in a basic Apollo Bay motel, stepping into The Drift House, felt like discovering a hidden paradise. A hidden gem! I came just for the restaurant, as the hotel was fully booked. The food was excellent, and showcased local produce. The service was personalised and very attentive, and I greatly appreciated the local tips. The space is very well designed and intimate, only seating around 10 people. The quality was quite reasonable for the price, but on the higher end. Highly recommended.

Fabulous Accommodation, Great Staff, Just a tip if you wash your own wine glasses and accidentally break one drying them you get charged $10.00 Don’t help clean up. A bit steep when charging $600+ a night

My husband and I stayed at Drift House for three nights for our 20th wedding anniversary, and frankly, could have stayed many more. An absolutely wonderfully appointed suite, top quality furnishings, amazing breakfasts, dinner and hospitality, topped off by a brilliant location. For such a short break, it was so relaxing. We will be back next year.
