Loved everything about this property. The staff is very attentive and were so helpful when trying to decide on what to do and where to go in the area. The building was beautiful, very tasteful decor. Enjoyed listening to the rooster in the mornings and the surrounding fields with sheep and a horse. We were happy to be greeted by the resident truffle dog 😊 The Michelin Star restaurant was amazing...

Pretty much the height of luxury. We had an excellent meal (most notable: the most extraordinary grilled tomato you never knew you need) but the service and setting are truly one of a kind. You cannot imagine a more beautiful chateau, I strongly recommend you turn up early and wander the grounds.

My husband & I were supposed to stay 2 nights out of a 6 night bicycle tour through the Burgundy region at the Chateau de Vault de Lugny. Unfortunately, my husband had an accident & I ended up staying at the Chateau by myself for 6 nights while my husband recovered at the hospital. The Chateau Vault de Lugny property is magical with stunning grounds. The rooms are huge & gorgeous. The food is outs...

Excellent place to stay in a beautiful area, with very good food. Possibly questionable decor. Great new dining room with glass walls. Rural feel yet convenient for the Autoroute. Interesting C13 abandoned tower. Can be explored at own risk!

The real negative for us was the restaurant. The menus are pretty limited, which is not necessarily a terrible thing as it allows the kitchen to concentrate on doing a few things at a high level. The kitchen has a Michelin star but really di...
