Chef Maxime Lesobre (and previously Nicolas Thomas and Miguel Marroquin) crafts delicate, seasonal dishes with an emphasis on flavor. Guests have lauded the exceptional quality of the food and the carefully selected wine pairings, particularly the selection of Champagnes and Burgundy labels. The pastry chef, Sae Hasegawa, is noted for creating less sweet, more ethereal desserts that incorporate surprising ingredients reflecting her origins, such as sesame or miso.

- No Elevators: The property does not have elevators, which could be a consideration for some guests.
- Seasonal Pool: The outdoor pool is seasonal, typically open from July to August.
- Limited Restaurant Menu and Service (isolated incident): One isolated review from August 2024 mentioned a very limited menu and "incredibly bad service" at the restaurant, including wine bottles brought already opened, leading them to leave. However, this appears to be an outlier compared to the overwhelmingly positive feedback on dining and service.

This was the 2nd stay at this amazing hotel. We had a fantastic room with a huge bathroom, everything was thought of. Our evening was exceptional, from Apero with stunning Canapés to our meal. The food was excellent, every course a ‘ taste experience’ & served by exceptional staff. How wonderful to have a ‘ cheese trolley’ - not found often nowadays. We picked a white Mercurey wine which we loved...

We had a truly lovely one night stay in this boutique hotel in a historic small chateau in a charming little village. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The rooms are big, the beds comfortable and bathrooms beautifully laid out.

Great small-ish sized hotel, that is dog friendly! Situated in a rural French village we have this stunning château, converted into a small-medium hotel with spa. We had a great time there. The staff speak fluent English, whilst I speak a tiny bit of French. The spa treatments were excellent and the restaurant was amazing! Would come back again. Many thanks!

To start with: hotel is quite difficult to enter no clear sign, we had the new room which is nice when traveling with dogs. Unfortunate the staff didn’t help (by themselves) at check in/out. Woman was nice, the man, probably the manager, was very rude. Staff is not trained properly, we came for dinner at 8.30 and received our main (the beef which was very tough to eat) around 12 at night. Also a f...

We had a pleasant stay. The room was on the small side but it had everything we needed including AC which was pleasant with the heat. Unfortunately we missed a minibar but not the worst thing to miss. The pool was extremely pleasant. The only reason for not giving the hotel 5 stars is because there is nothing else around and we were woken up by our upstairs neighbour at 4 am who was walking around...

We stayed here with our 4month old baby as a stop over on the way to the alps. The property and rooms were beautiful but what really was amazing was the restaurant! Not only was the food incredible, but when we brought our baby who wasn’t settling they were so accommodating in letting us have our final course in the room. On our journey back, we decided to stay again and once again they were reall...
