My stay at Château de Collias Hôtel 5 étoiles & Restaurant was wonderful. The hotel itself is very beautiful, with a lovely and well-kept garden. At check-in, an older gentleman manager helped me, and he was extremely kind and warm. The next day I had a problem with my rental car due to a tire issue. Because of the language barrier and some complications, I couldn’t manage to solve it on my own. ...

We had lunch in the bistro. The selection was limited but everyone had something they enjoyed. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were helpful, friendly, attentive, and cheerful (special mention to Mel for moving furniture to take our group pic for us). Disclaimer: we live in London, so our judgement on VFM is soewhat skewed. We thought the bill was very reasonable. ...

A large party of us booked at the Bistrot de Bougainvilliers here. A disappointing and overpriced experience - a hostile reception from the maître de service, indifferent quality of the cooking, sloppy and unprofessional service - children were not served first, a long gap between serving people at the same table, no wine was poured or offered for tasting, just bottles plopped on the table. Portio...

If you do not speak French do not stay here. The building is beautiful and the owners are so kind. However the following all occurred causing us to even consider disputing the hotel charge. 1) AC: the hotel advertised having AC. However it was unavailable in our upgraded room. Therefore we had to have our windows open. This wouldn’t have been an issue except our windows opened onto the balcony wi...

Experience could not have been more delightful. The castle has been tastefully restored, and the rooms are filled with wonderful little details, and incredibly charming. The young, but experienced chef, produces an inventive menu that delighted our palette. And over all wonderful experience with delicious food, a lovely environment, friendly service and gorgeous rooms.
